WingFest With The BoneHeads...Why you Wish you Were There..!
• National Buffalo WingFest was created by Drew Cerza in 2002…! Every year since then, all of the best wing artisans from around the country gather together to pit their sauces against each other in a bout of firery sweetness..!
• Boneheads Wingbar in West Warwick Rhode Island was invited to participate last year in the 2014 wingfest at the Coca Cola Stadium in Buffalo New York.. And they did not disappoint..!
• Together with the Boneheads, Cheryl Thomas and I From All The Above Entertainment , get together and head to Buffalo New York. We would get there on a Friday afternoon and start setting up in the Coca Cola stadium from the festival the next day. It’s a great time. Cheryl and I setup up screens, with active logo on it, set up a truss system to hold up the screens and mount lights to, and on the day of I host and interact with our fans in line.
• The festival goes all day Saturday and Sunday. There are all different categories to win for. You can win for hottest sauce, sweetest sauce, most creative , or even for the best team spirit... And though we are far from home, there’s more than enough media coverage to keep our fans at home posted. The festival is covered by local radio stations, abc news, and ESPN2.
• Buffalo itself accepted us as a neighbor. After the first day we decided to go out and try some of buffalo’s staple wings..! We visited Duffs and I had their DEATH wing. Let’s just say they call it that for a reason..!! No Joke I thought I was going to die..!!! But everywhere we went people were great. We were even recognized at a lot of places. We would walk in the door and hear “ Hey it’s the BoneHeads..! “
All in all It was a crazy Weekend filled with wings, sauces, prizes, jello shots, beards, and good friends..!
